Most toy and small breeds, such as toy Poodles, Shih Tzus, Malteses and Pomeranians, fall in the 2 to 8 kg rows.

What is included in a basic groom?

A basic groom at PGH covers:

• A bath with a shampoo matched to the coat
• Blow dry and brush-out
• Nail trimming
• Ear cleaning
• A sanitary and paw-pad tidy
• A face and feet tidy

A bath alone skips the trimming. Choose a basic groom when the coat is still short and you only want your dog clean and tidy. Choose a shave or a scissor style when the coat has grown out. If you are not sure how often to book, read how often dogs should be groomed.

Is it worth driving from Puchong for a groom?

Puchong has its own groomers, and for a quick bath the nearest one is often the sensible choice. The drive to USJ 21 is worth it when:

• You want a published price before you arrive. PGH lists every weight band and style, so you know the cost of a full shave or a scissor cut before you book.
• Your dog also needs boarding or day care. Grooming, the dog hotel and day care are under one roof. A boarding dog can be groomed on the last day of the stay.
• Your dog needs its teeth cleaned. PGH offers anaesthesia-free dental scaling by a groomer from RM150 or by a visiting animal dentist from RM250.
• You prefer a mall drop-off. Covered parking, a jockey area and 24-hour mall security.

How do I book, and what should I tell the groomer?

Message +6010 203 6088 on WhatsApp with your dog's breed, weight and the style you want. PGH is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 7pm. Mondays are by appointment only.

Tell us in advance about any aggression, skin problems or health issues. Severely matted coats may need a shave instead of a scissor style. If something is not right after the groom, PGH offers one touch-up within 48 hours.
